Robert (Bob) Taylor
Mr. Robert Taylor joined Neucel in November 2007 with over 25 years of experience in the pulp and paper and chemical cellulose industry. Mr. Taylor has held various senior management positions in operations at International Paper Company, including seven years with the dissolving pulp mill operations located in Natchez, Mississippi. 

Subsequent to leaving IP as Vice President of Manufacturing for the Printing Papers Division, Bob joined Sappi Fine Paper North America where he was Vice President of Manufacturing responsible for pulp sales, wood procurement and engineering as well as operations for five manufacturing facilities throughout North America. Immediately prior to joining Neucel Mr. Taylor spent one year with Armstrong World Industries as Vice President of Operations for the company’s seven North American Plants.


Charles Spell
Mr. Charles Spell joined Neucel in April 2008 as V.P. Global Sales & Marketing.  Mr. Spell has been involved in sales and marketing his entire career, including 34 years with Rayonier.  For 21 of those years, Charles held the position of Director, Cellulose Specialties leading both commercial and technical sales efforts.

Brian Brown
Mr. Brian Brown has been involved in the forest industry since 1970.  During that time he has worked in all phases of the industry; logging, milling and marketing of wood products.  He completed three years at the University of British Columbia, majoring in Anthropology before the lure of the woods sent him logging.  He worked for MacMillan Bloedel scaling logs and subsequently acquiring wood for their mills and selling log production. 

In 1982, Mr. Brown moved to Canadian Overseas Log and Lumber where he worked mainly on marketing to offshore markets.  In 1994, he started Armagh Forest Products Inc., specializing in marketing of loggers’ production and custom cutting and marketing specialty products world wide. 

He served as President of the Independent Timber Marketing Association for five years and sat on several industry-ministry committees.  Brian currently sits on the Timber Sale Advisory Council, the Coast Recovery Group, and the Pulp and Paper Task Force.


John Schroeder
Mr. John Schroeder has been with Neucel since June 2007 and is responsible for the administration of customer service, logistics, distribution, purchasing, legal services and mill stores.  He has a total of 30 years experience in transportation and logistics, including positions with Northwood Pulp and Timber Limited, Canadian Forest Products Ltd and a private alcohol firm. 

John is focused on the transformation of Neucel logistics and purchasing to a demand driven supply chain. This has included 3PL selection and outsourcing, supplier/service provider strategy formulation, purchasing/logistics/inventory management optimization, and on-demand software implementations for purchasing/mill stores.

Jim Herculson
Jim Herculson has been in the forest products industry for 29 years – in various financial positions - fourteen years with Kimberly-Clark Forest Products in Ontario, and eleven with Millar Western Forest Products in Saskatchewan and Alberta.  

He has worked with two pulp mills – 9 years in a Kraft mill in Terrace Bay, Ontario and 4 with a BCTMP mill in Whitecourt Alberta. In addition to his pulp experience Jim has worked with three sawmills and four different logging operations.

Jim holds two accounting designations – a Certified Management Accountant and Certified General Accountant. In addition, he has an MBA from Lake Superior State University in Michigan and a Diploma in Corporate Finance from the University of Alberta.
